Ask about this service

Environmental Impact Assessments, environmental permits, Mine Closure Plans and formalization of traditional miners, prepared to the requirements that the Environmental Authority and the Mining Authority review in each procedure.

Every mining operation requires an environmental licence, and in mining the procedure starts directly with the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). The size of the project, measured by mineral and volume of material, determines whether the national or the regional Environmental Authority evaluates it. We prepare the study to the official terms of reference and the permits the operation needs, such as water concessions, discharges, occupation of watercourses and forest use.

The Mine Closure Plan is now submitted together with the PTO to the Mining Authority and the Environmental Authority, with measures for each type of closure and for post-closure. In formalization we identify the route that applies to each miner, verify their mining and environmental record and prepare the technical documentation. When the project involves ethnic communities, we support the preparation of the prior consultation, which is led by the competent authority.
